I’m the sentimental type. I believe in miracles and fairytales. I love sappy love songs from the 80s too.
I also love creating family memories. One of the things I think about often is leaving a legacy of my life to my kids through my pictures. I want them to know what I was like, especially when they couldn’t remember. Through my pictures I’d leave them my favorite places, foods, quotes, people, and the fun memories we have together as a family.
In the last few years I’ve been bitten by the blogging bug. And now to add to the ideas of leaving a photojournalistic legacy to my kids, I’ve wanted to put words down on paper…or “type out loud” so to speak.
I think a lot of moms…and dads are like me. They want to build something meaningful for their kids. Creating a personal blog is something that we, as parents, would be able to add to everyday for our kids. I try to focus on “beginning with the end in mind” when starting a project like this.
