In 2013, I wanted to follow the idea of choosing “ one word ” (or phrase) to focus on during the year. It’s much simpler than resolutions and easier to focus on…since it is only supposed to be a few words.
This is what I posted to Facebook a the start of 2014:
Last year I started picking a “one-word theme” for the entire year. I choose HAPPINESS for 2013. Thinking back now, my theme should have been PUSH since I felt like I broke through barriers starting in January of last year, and I’m happy to say that I’m a better person for it. Yes, PUSH fused with HAPPINESS was a great combination for 2013. What’s in store for 2014? I have two theme candidates. SHARE because I’m camera shy and I want to get over it. (Maybe my theme should be SELFIE. LOL) My other fav is INCREASE because I love the boldness of the word. Is two too many? Would you share your one-word theme?
I received many replies. CREATE. DIET. SUCCESS. HAPPINESS. APPRECIATE. HEALTHY.
Love them all.
I haven’t chosen my one word theme for 2015 yet. But what I do know is that I want to set goals, kick off 2015 with a bang, and hit the ground running.
Now is a perfect time to do it start setting those goals. BEFORE it gets crazy busy.
