Twitter
Twitter currently supports MP4 and MOV video formats on mobile apps. On the web, we support the MP4 video format with H264 format with AAC audio. You can upload videos up to 512MB, however you will be prompted to edit videos to 2 minutes and 20 seconds or less in length.
- Preferred Format: MP4 (with H.264 Codec & AAC Low Complexity audio)
- Frame Rate: 40fps or below
- Maximum Dimensions: 1280px x 1024px (Between 1:3 & 3:1 aspect ratio, with a 1:1 pixel ratio)
- Playback Length: Maximum of 140 seconds
- Filesize Limit: 15mb
- Unlike Facebook, Twitter will flat out refuse any media that has an incorrect frame rate. Be sure to get it right first time round.
